This is the shark Suzy stepped on -it was dying already when they netted it. Lifeguard said it had been hooked in the gills by a fisherman and was probably bleeding out. Kids were thrilled - mamas, not so much!

oh gosh! I wish it was our house ;-D Just a rental for the week... We are in Raleigh about 2.5 hours from the beach... The scariest thing was when we found a newborn shark washed up on shore and then realized that meant the mam shark was nearby!
Take five kids from toddler to freshman in college, throw in 4 or more (JJ and I are mutts) countries of origin, toss homeschooling into the mix and last of all, add two loving parents and you get the Devlin Family Circus!
